Description

Black people from Africa, the Caribbean and across the old Empire, have been living in Wandsworth since the borough formed over 100 years ago.

Wandsworth Stories reflects the rich and varied cultural diversity of the borough, using oral histories, printed and online media to create an exhibition of historical and contemporary social histories; celebrating the positive contribution Black people in Wandsworth have made to freedom, equality and world peace.
